From Second New Hampshire Turnpike:
- Head toward New Boston via NH‑13
- The Second New Hampshire Turnpike roughly corresponds to today’s NH‑13 in this area.
- Take NH‑13 southeast toward New Boston Center.
- NH‑13 intersects NH‑136 in New Boston and then turns onto Mont Vernon Road.
- Continue on Mont Vernon Road for a short distance.
- You’ll see the Whipple Free Library at 67 Mont Vernon Road, behind the Post Office
From Route 2:
- Drive until you reach a junction with NH‑13 (depending on your starting point, this could be NH‑13 northbound toward New Boston).
- Continue on NH‑13 north/east: Follow the route signs toward New Boston Center.
- NH‑13 transitions into Mont Vernon Road once you pass the center— the library is just east of town.
